The 卡森城 治安官’s Office K-9 Unit is hosting an introductory 叫 & 绷带 event intended to help prepare dog owners for pet emergencies. The topics will include recognizing symptoms of internal bleeding, 中暑, 毒素摄入, 过敏反应, 响尾蛇咬伤, and gastric dilatation-volvulus or “bloat.” The fundamental purpose of the event is to train dog owners on what to do or not to do during an emergency. 

The 卡森城 治安官’s Office recognizes that pet companions are family members. During rough times we rely heavily on the comfort our pet companions provide. Knowing how to care for your pet during emergencies can help save your pet’s life. 叫 & 绷带 will include minor wound care, how to address pad burns, vomiting, and diarrhea. After the session there will be a Q&一个机会. 

In order to provide hands-on training, the class size will be limited to 20 participants. Participants will not be allowed to bring their dog. Participants must be ages 18 and older. 报名参加巴克斯课程 & 绷带 please sign the release of liability 豁免 and upload to the online form.
